As the days grow shorter and the air turns crisp, our needles seem to hum with extra excitement. Fall is the season knitters wait for; when cozy textures, earthy tones, and layers come to life. To celebrate, we asked our Monarch Knitting team to share their current fall favorites.
Ann is embracing fall layers with the Milano Vest, a modern piece that’s perfect for crisp days. She’s knitting hers in mYak Baby Camel, in the warm Copper Red colorway, a stunning match for autumn tones. “I love how versatile this vest will be - it’s going to layer beautifully over everything!”
Catherine has plans to pick up her Haruno Cardigan in mYak Tibetan Cloud. Soft, lightweight, and timeless, this cardigan is sure to become a wardrobe staple. Such an elegant option for fall!
Koryn is going fishing for this playful colorwork sweater designed Halibut by Caitlin Hunter! She’s knitting it up in Kelbourne Woolens Scout, the perfect woolly yarn for crisp fall weather. Such a fun motif!
Diane’s fall spirit is showing in the Spooktacular Socks by StoneKnits! Using Lang Jawoll, she’s knitting up these festive, cozy socks just in time for spooky season.
Molly has been knitting away on the Stella Quilt Blanket, a colorful patchwork knit full of charm. She’s using Berroco Vintage Baby in Toast for the base and adding pops of color with Coates & Co. DK minis and a few stash treasures. We cannot wait to see it finished!
Erin's pick is Bergliebe by Isabell Kraemer, a textured and cozy pullover. She’s using Kelbourne Woolens Cricket in a medium grey that’s as versatile as it is timeless. It's going to be sooo cozy!
Connie has her eye on the Goya Cowl by Justyna Lorkowska, a bold, color-blocked accessory with a touch of lace. She’s planning to knit hers in three shades of Magpie Swanky Sock for a luxurious pop of color. It's certainly giving fall vibes!
Rebecca is finishing up her Colette Pullover, a chic sweater with a touch of vintage flair by Sari Nordlund. She’s loved every stitch and can’t wait to wear it this season. This would be stunning paired with Knitting for Olive Merino and Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair, too.
Jenn has one of Pit Stop Bandana kits in Cypress DK in her cart. This quick-knit project is stylish, cozy, and the perfect layering piece for fall. Now, she just has to decide on a color combo!
