Dear Friends,
This week is filled with exciting news—we are celebrating our 13th anniversary! This Saturday, April 25th, marks 13 years since I purchased the shop from Joan. I can hardly believe it! I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all of you—our clients—and my remarkable team for helping to keep Monarch Knitting a vibrant and active Local Yarn Store (LYS). We truly cherish our community of crafters and the wonderful interactions we have with you.
We always offer a little surprise to clients who shop on this day and spend over a certain amount. Quite honestly, I have been racking my brain, a notion, a Monarch themed trinket, what should it be? Yesterday, as I was searching Ravelry, it dawned on me… let's give you all something you can actually use…a pattern! So, if you shop with us, either in-store or online, and spend over $50 before taxes, we will cover the cost of a Ravelry pattern of your choice valued at $12 or less. Please see below for more details and some necessary restrictions.
We’ll also feature something fun! Each member of our team will be featured on our front table, showing their favorite notion and yarn. You might discover something new!
In addition, we will have sweet treats to help us celebrate, restock some beloved favorites, and introduce a new Peninsula Yarn to our shelves—all while offering an extra 10% off all sale yarns. Plus, everyone who shops with us, whether in-store or online, will automatically be entered into our prize drawing.
We have fantastic news regarding gift cards! Whether you have a physical card or an online code, you can use it both in our online shop and in our brick-and-mortar location. If you have a physical gift card and wish to use it on monarchknitting.com, simply enter the gift card number at checkout, and the balance will be applied to your purchase. So, feel free to send someone special a gift card; they can shop with us in Pacific Grove or from the comfort of their own home.

$20.00 for 30 minutes
$40.00 for 1 hour
Do you have a new skill you would like to learn, or are you confused by a particular part of a pattern? Come into the shop and work one-on-one with us! Call us at 831.647.9276 to set up an appointment.
We can only offer private lessons on Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays. There are no private lessons during the hours of Knitting Circle.
