We are celebrating our 12th Anniversary and Local Yarn Store Day this Saturday! We look forward to welcoming you to our very dear shop. With so many changes in the knitting landscape over the last few weeks, this is an especially important time to celebrate the LYS. We have seen Brooklyn Tweed cease yarn production, Churchmouse go to a new business model as a pattern-only business, and Jimmy Beans Wool, Madelinetosh, and Della Q acquired by private equity. Add a great deal of uncertainty over tariffs; it has been a wild ride. I want you all to know that because of you, our clients and my wonderful team, Monarch Knitting is still viable and strong in today's landscape.

If you’re receiving these weekly emails, you’re already enrolled and eligible for some fun new benefits, including birthday savings (we’ll start collecting your birth month and day soon!) and bonus points for following us on social media. Some of you have multiple emails with us, so if you don't see your points, they may be listed under a different email address. In knitting news, I finished my Bam Bam Bow, and it is so cute! It is fabulous with a jacket or cardigan and is the perfect pop of color. I put one quick photo on Ravelry, but will add more over the weekend. It took me two balls of Pascuali Cashmere and five days. You have to love those quick, satisfying projects.

Flower Needle Gauge - The Flower Needle Gauge is a tool I use all the time. Can you see the size information on your needles? The print is so tiny that I don't have a chance! This little gauge flower fits perfectly in my notion pouch, and I can access it with ease. It is indeed the smallest and sweetest knitting needle and crochet hook gauge.

We can only offer private lessons on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Fridays. There are no private lessons during the hours of Knitting Circle.
