New Yarn, Cozy Projects & Fall Inspiration
Dear Friends,
Can you believe we're already nearing the end of August? Have you been making progress on your projects for our August Finish Along? I definitely have some knitting to squeeze in this weekend! We're planning a quiet few days at home with Ben, which means my needles will be getting plenty of attention.
As you scroll through this week's newsletter, you'll notice that our Bash's Beach Morning Walk Hat kits are back in stock. I miss my sweet boy every day, but it brings me so much joy that his memory lives on—not only in our hearts, but also here at the shop through this special color. And if you didn't know, we also have a Bashi's Brows colorway in our Monarch Knitting yarn. It's the prettiest warm caramel and one of my favorites.
We also have a couple of exciting new arrivals to share. First is One Skein Knitting, the debut book from our friend Ksenia Naidyon of Life Is Cozy. We all have those special single skeins tucked away in our stash—the ones we couldn't resist because of the color, the fiber, or the memories they hold. With 18 beautiful patterns, Ksenia will inspire you to turn those treasured skeins into something you'll love to wear.
And finally...our newest yarn has arrived! I've been eagerly awaiting Bramble & Fleece since May, and I'm so excited it's finally here. This wonderful British brand is dedicated to creating truly traceable, heritage wool yarns from flock to yarn. Each base is spun in Yorkshire using exceptional British wool, resulting in beautiful yarns that are a pleasure to knit and will be cherished for years to come.
We're now carrying four of their bases: Sheepsoft Aran, Sheepsoft DK, Sheepsoft 4ply, and Wooltrace DK Makers Palette, a collection of mini skeins that's perfect for colorwork and adding pops of color to your projects. I'm knitting my Olga Sweater in Sheepsoft DK, and I couldn't be happier with how it's knitting up.
