Come join KnitChats Instructor Jessica Baldwin for a delightful journey into the world of crochet as we create a beautiful and cozy cardigan perfect for any season! This workshop is designed for both beginners and intermediate crocheters who want to expand their skills and add a stylish, handmade piece to their wardrobe. This is a hybrid knit and crochet class! I will be demonstrating how to pick up and knit the sleeve cuffs, bottom hem, and neckband for anyone who would like the best of both worlds. You can opt for all crochet as well. Each class session will be recorded so you can review it at your convenience for 30 days.

Session 1: Pattern overview, rounds 1-5, how to measure for width before seaming,
shoulder seaming (join-as-you-go and mattress stitch)
Session 2: Back extension rows, sleeves, and cuffs (knitted and crochet demos)
Session 3: Bottom hem and neckband.

skill level: Adventurous beginner to intermediate crocheter

materials:

• Happi Scrappi Hexi pattern
• Yarn: Pattern is written for Worsted/Aran weight. We recommend Chibi Paka Chunky by Ikigai Fiber.
• Hook & Needles: The pattern recommends an H/5mm hook. I am using a U.S. L/7mm hook and US 10/6mm needles.
