Introduction to Mosaic Knitting: The Shift Cowl - June 14th

Join Koryn to learn how to knit one of the most popular projects in the shop, The Shift Cowl by Andrea Mowry.  You will cast on the project in class and dive right into the Mosaic Stitch. While it might look difficult, it is an easy color-work technique to learn as it uses slipped stitches to create the effect. Koryn will demonstrate the finish of the cowl, including the i-cord bind off.  

Skills required: basic knitting and ability to increase

supplies: The Shift Kit or three colors of Spincycle Dyed in the Wool, the pattern, US 5 (3.75 mm) needle, row counter, and tapestry needle.
pre-work: none
